Step into a fairytale with Tindra’s Quest – a magical (s)elf-guided scavenger hunt in Äkäslompolo!

Together with Tindra, a cheerful elf in a green hat, and her husky pup Nupi, your family will follow playful riddles through the village. Children become the heroes as they solve clues, spot landmarks, and unlock a final surprise at a local shop.

How it works

• Open it easily on any smartphone or tablet – no app needed
• Follow the illustrated map & scan QR codes along the way (internet connection required!)
• Solve riddles, enjoy magical moments together as a family and discover hidden corners of Äkäslompolo
• Duration: around 60-90 minutes, depending on your pace (walking distance 3 km / under 2 miles)

The reward

At the final stop, say the secret password and receive:

• a small treasure (sticker) from the shop
• an official Explorer Certificate (PDF download)

Pricing & Options

• The regular price of 15 € includes one treasure present (sticker) and digital access to the quest.
• Have two kids? Add one extra sticker (+4 €) so both children get their own treasure.
• Everyone receives a downloadable Explorer Certificate at the end of the quest.
  • If you do not choose personalization, the certificate will have no name and can be printed later.
  • If you add the Personalized Explorer Certificate (+4 €), Tindra will write your child’s name(s) by elf-magic and send the certificate(s) to you by email within 48 hours.

Good to know

• Recommended for children aged 5–10, always with adult supervision. (Younger ones can join with help from adults)
• No fixed schedule, no guide — just your family, the story of Tindra & Nupi, and the magic of Lapland.

Ideal active age range

• 4–6 years: enjoy the atmosphere, walking, and magical theme. Need adult help for riddles.
• 7–10 years: can follow clues, read simple riddles, and feel like true “explorers.”
• 11+ years: still enjoy it if they have younger siblings (otherwise might find it too easy).
